Supporting our Community
Run to Feed the Hungry - Parents, students and staff get a team together to run this event every year.
Catholic Schools Week - Held in January. On Monday we hold Community Service day. Each class supports a charity, e.g. making lunches for mustard seed school, cookies for the firefighters, valentines cards for the Midtown Oaks residents, volunteering at the Food Bank, donations for St. John's shelter and Thank you's for the Sheltered Pets Alive staff.
Jeans for Jesus - Pay a $1 on Fridays during Lent. Money goes to a different charity each year.
Student Council - Organize mini fundraisers e.g. pie a teacher, wear free dress, diaper drives, canned food drives, halloween grams to benefit a variety of charities.
Presents for Families in Need - A Christmas tree is filled with wishes for Christmas, which St. Francis families fulfill.
St. Francis Parish - Mercy Peddlers and a table at the Parish Gala.
Sacramento Children's Home - Sponsor a table at their annual fundraising crab feed and support families at Christmas.
