Due to Covid-19, events may be re-scheduled or cancelled during the 2020-2021 school year to help maintain the health and safety of our students, staff and school community. Stay up to date on the latest news regarding events on SchoolSpeak, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and on the bulletin boards at school.

Supporting our Community

Run to Feed the Hungry - Parents, students and staff get a team together to run this event every year. 

Jeans for Jesus - Pay a $1 on Fridays during Lent. Money goes to a different charity each year.

Catholic Schools Week - Held in January. On Monday we hold Community Service day. Each class supports a charity, e.g. making lunches for mustard seed school, cookies for the firefighters, valentines cards for the Midtown Oaks residents, volunteering at the Food Bank, donations for St. John's shelter and Thank you's for the Sheltered Pets Alive staff.

St. Baldrick's - Students, parents and staff raise money for childhood cancer and get their heads shaved. 

Student Council - Organize mini fundraisers e.g. pie a teacher, wear free dress, halloween grams to benefit a variety of charities.

Presents for Families in Need - A Christmas tree is filled with wishes for Christmas, which St. Francis families fulfill.

St. Francis Parish - Steps Ministry, Mercy Peddlers and a table at the Parish Gala. 

Sacramento Children's Home - Sponsor a table at their annual fundraising crab feed and support families at Christmas. 

Operation Gratitude - Candy from halloween gets parceled up and sent to the troops.

Fun-raisers & Fundraisers

Back to School BBQ - We start off our school year with a family BBQ. Fun, food, music and games. Catch up with old friends or make some new ones. 

Auction & Gala - In November, we have our main fundraiser. An adults only evening to come to together as a community to celebrate the school and support our mission.

Art Show - One of a kind art show, displaying work from every grades. 

Coffee in the Courtyard - At various times throughout the school year, coffee is provided in the courtyard for parents/grandparents.

See's Candies - Start your Christmas shopping early with our See's Candies Fundraiser or just enjoy a box yourself!

Pancake Breakfast - Catholic Schools Week kicks off with our delicious pancake breakfast, followed by Open House.

Halloween Trunk or Treat - Put your imagination to work to create a spooky trunk or enjoy all of the trunks and some sweet treats with the family.

Family Fun Night - Bringing in the Christmas spirit with the family! Tamales, hot chocolate, crafts and carol singing.

Jog-A-Thon - Support our students as they run their hearts out and raise funds to support our mission.

Golf Tournament - Put together a foursome or join other members of the community for a fun round of golf. Best ball, shot gun start & mulligan's. No need to be a golf expert!
