Accreditation Certificate

Accreditation

In 2022, St. Francis Elementary School received six full years of dual accreditation from WASC (Western Association of Schools & Colleges) and WCEA (Western Catholic Educational Association). A team of objective, experienced educators thoroughly evaluated our school and recommended the highest term of accreditation. To read the entire report from the visiting accreditation team, please click the certificate to the left and you will see for yourself why we are extremely proud of our school!

We joined the St Francis of Assisi school community when our son was in middle school and have had a wonderful experience!  The teachers as well as the school leadership are truly outstanding, and their dedication as well as commitment to each child and family is obvious.  Mr. Piscopo Williams (seventh grade) and Mr. Reynoso (eighth grade) provide a challenging academic experience, nurture the well-being of each student, provide outstanding parent communication, and consistently go above and beyond what is expected.  We were warmly welcomed, and our son has made friendships that will last well beyond his time at the school.  Our son was encouraged and excited to try new sports and activities during his middle school years and this also enhanced his school experience, Anonymous 2022 (8th Grade Parent)

I have three children (ages 8, 8 and 11) who are enrolled and attending Saint Francis Elementary school. They have been there since TK and our whole family loves it. We looked extensively before settling on a school and Saint Francis was the total package.

The academics are rigorous but done in a very nurturing way, so the students meet full potential. The atmosphere of inclusion is clear and palatable. After our first tour my husband and I remarked on how happy and welcoming everyone was and how it felt like you always belonged. The leadership and community are in close alignment with each other and it is one based upon caring and being engaged in the well-being of the students as a whole, Victoria 2020 (5th Grade and 3rd Grade Parent)
