Student Council have arranged a Kindness Campaign.

Hello St. Francis families,

In the month of November, we will be kicking off kindness challenges. For our first kindness challenge in conjunction with our 125th Birthday, we will be donating to Loaves and Fishes. Please see SchoolSpeak for more details.

Time Capsule - A time capsule was buried during the Centennial celebration. We have put together a 125th celebration time capsule with memorable items from every grade. This will be buried on the birthday next to the 100th time capsule.

Our students, present at school and on distance learning have decorated 2x3 inch pieces of paper with happy birthday messages. These have been collected together to make one giant birthday card for the school.

Seth Sandronsky, is writing a story on our birthday for Inside Magazine, which is distributed to East Sac, The Pocket, Arden and Land Park.

The school will be decorated with blue and yellow flags and banners with our 125th logo either side of our main entrance and messages from our students on the back of the school.

Scott Green, a magician will be performing a virtual magic show for TK-8th grade on Thursday afternoon to round off our birthday.

Friday 6th November 2020

On Friday afternoon, the day after our birthday, we will be setting up a legacy tunnel on the playground. There will be boards set out with enlarged archive photos attached. To keep everybody safe, our alumni and wider community can drive through the tunnel, with masks on and enjoy the photos set up. If you do not have a car, please contact apereira@stfranciselem.org for a time to walk through - masks must be worn.

Saturday 27th March 2021

We have moved our penultimate celebration; An evening to celebrate a 125 years; Auction & Gala to March 27 2021 in the hope that we may be able to hold an in-person event. We are teaming up with St. Francis Parish to hold this community event together. Currently we have reserved Golden 1 Center for the night. We will make a decision towards the end of the year with regards to keeping it in-person or going virtual depending on the Covid situation.
