Subject: November 4th. PC Leadership Meeting Notes

Hi All -

Thanks for all attending today's conference call.  I think it is working out great and hopefully I will get Troy to agree that this is the way to go for all Leadership Meetings.  (I will keep my fingers crossed). (See I am much faster with the notes when it is a conference call since I can be at my computer)

Here are the notes from the meeting today:  Please forgive me if you were on the call and I missed your name.

Attendees:  Laurie, Maria, Maria, Dawn, Michelle, Jill, Troy, Myra, Debra

 

  1. November Speaker
    1. Flyer will go out November 12th in Wednesday Envelope
    2. On November 17th, starts at 5:15pm (pizza)
    3. Who is getting pizza?  Kathy, Maria will follow up with Kathy

 

  1. See's Candy
    1. Flyers went out last Friday
    2. Web blast was great
    3. Next Friday - November 14th before school Maria will make another announcement and hand out lollipops
    4. Maria wants to send out See's Update in the Gubbio. Deadline is Friday.  Maria will also put a flyer in the brown envelope as well.  Maria can email to Laurie.
    5. Dawn will do email blast on November 14th
    6. Jill will post bulletin board for volunteers on Monday
    7. Good handful of people to do the counting so Maria believes she is set with that duty.

 

 

  1. Caroling/Spaghetti Dinner
    1. Eric Church is going to do the pasta and Connie is going to help him.
    2. We need to send out information so that we know how many people are going to attend.
    3. Dawn has last years flyer and will send it to Jill so that she can update for this year.  We will take money at the door.
    4. Flyer needs to get reviewed by Laurie first.
    5. Who is organizing? - Myra, Maria, Maria will help set up for the night.  Just need to cover the tables or placemats.  Laurie is going to see what Patty has for the event.
    6. Maureen is handling the organizing the caroling, break up into 3 groups and then stay at each site.
    7. Cookies - have leadership team bring Christmas cookies  (2 dozen each).
    8. Last year - $6 Adults $4 for kids, keep the same price - drink (water, soda, milk), pasta, salad, bread and dessert.  We just need to make sure we are breaking even.
    9. Laurie will see if we can have both a veggie sauce and a meat sauce and what the price should be.
    10. Wine will be available but we will sell it separately.  PC will need to purchase the wine and hot chocolate.
    11. Handling tickets and sales - Dawn will coordinate this
    12. Flyer is going in the Wednesday envelope for both days in November (12th & 26th) - Jill will create this and we need it by Friday. Dawn will let Jill know.
    13. We will ask Connie if she will be in charge of making the hot coco
    14. Event is on Dec 5th at 5:00pm

 

 

  1. Santa's Helper (I think it was called this)
    1. No Pay Pal
    2. Blast is going out when the time is right.
    3. Will occur the first couple weeks of December
    4. Giant pot for the entire staff (everyone)
    5. Parent Club does not need to do anything for this.

 

  1. Bowling Night
    1. February 27th - Friday at 6:00-9:00pm
    2. Includes Pizza, and parents only pay to cover bowling
    3. We will discuss more during our next leadership meeting.
