Nominations are now being accepted for the St. Francis Elementary School Advisory Commission, (SAC), for the term of office beginning on July 1, 2009 and ending on June 30, 2010. If interested, please complete a nomination form prior to Monday, April 20th, 2009.

• Consideration for membership to the SAC requires the nominations shall be a parent of a child registered in St. Francis of Assisi School or a registered member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
• If elected, nominations should have a strong and positive commitment to Catholic school education and knowledge of the concept of "shared responsibility."
• If elected, nominations are required to participate in all scheduled meetings. Meetings are normally monthly, but may also include ad hoc special meetings and executive meetings.
• If elected, New SAC members are required to attend the Diocesan "New School Advisory Commission Members' Workshop" as a condition for taking office.
• Only one member of a family is eligible for SAC membership at any one time.
• Employees of the parish and school or their immediate family members are not eligible to be voting members of SAC.
